Despite our previous communications it is now apparent that the practice will not be allocated sufficient vaccine to cover all current eligible patients for the Covid Spring Booster campaign. This is beyond practice control as vaccines are centrally allocated to us rather than being available to be ordered by the practice.
Moss Healthcare Harrogate will only have enough stock to cover our care home patients and those patients that are registered as housebound. Therefore, we need to advise all other eligible patients who are not in a care home or who are not registered as housebound and are physically unable to leave the house, that they will need to make their own arrangements to get the vaccine through the national booking system. To keep our phone lines clear for patients with more urgent on the day clinical needs please do not call the practice about this as it is beyond our control.
