Tomorrow our wonderful Dr Poskitt is taking part in the Women v Cancer Ride the Night that is taking place next Saturday.
She will be cycling 100 kilometres to try and raise money and awareness of cancers that can affect women of all ages. Here are a few words from her and a link so you can donate if you are feeling generous:
“1 in 5 women do not attend their GP for their smears or their breast unit for their mammograms. I hope to change that for our local population.
If you can spare £1 & then remind yourself/your mum/partner/daughter/ friend or a woman who needs to book their smear or mammogram. It’s free & saves lives”
