Today, Wednesday 1st February we have officially change our name to Moss Healthcare Harrogate and we have now have our new look logo displayed.
As Dr Nick Taylor said in his letter to patients in December, our decision to change our identity reflects the role of modern general practice and the different healthcare specialists’ patients can now access.
Our practice now incorporates a much wider range of healthcare professionals and non-clinical staff. If you’re unwell, or living with a long-term condition, the best people to help aren’t necessarily doctors.
The range of healthcare professionals now working in our practice includes nurses, healthcare assistants, advanced clinical practitioners, first contact physiotherapists, pharmacists, social prescribers and more. And increasingly, we’re doing much more to prevent people from becoming unwell, rather than just treating illness
